Explore the Honda CR-V
The CR-V is available in several trims, starting with the LX. The EX and EX-L are the other CR-Vs with the standard powertrain. There are also a few hybrid versions of the CR-V to consider. The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid have electric motors that work together with their gas-powered engines. As a result, they're more powerful than their non-hybrid counterparts, and they're more efficient as you commute around Detroit.
The LX, EX, and EX-L run on 1.5-liter turbocharged engines. Their turbochargers give them a big boost, and they can make 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. An available all-wheel-drive system could be a good idea if you need more traction in slippery conditions. All-wheel drive is also optional with the Sport Hybrid, and it's standard on the Sport Touring Hybrid. Those two trims both use 2.0-liter engines along with a pair of electric motors. These components work together to make 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. With a hybrid CR-V, you'd earn up to 43 miles per gallon in the city. The non-hybrid CR-Vs do well in this area, too, as they can earn up to 34 miles per gallon on highways.
CR-V Features
When you see the inside of the CR-V, you'll appreciate how much space there is. The back seat offers 41 inches of legroom, and the front row is even more spacious than that. Plus, you'll be able to fit all kinds of items in the cargo hold, which has a volume of nearly 40 cubic feet. The front seats can be power-adjustable and heated, and all the seats can be trimmed in sophisticated leather. This SUV has an automatic climate control system to keep everyone comfortable, and most models have dual-zone climate control. Other amenities in the cabin include an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
With its LED headlights and LED taillights, the CR-V looks modern. You'll find its remote entry system convenient, and it's great that the side mirrors come with LED turn indicators. Those side mirrors can have heating elements, too. If you like having more natural light in your cabin, you'll be pleased that almost all CR-V trims have power moonroofs. Higher trims are further enhanced with power tailgates.
Honda CR-V Tech and Safety
All of the new Honda CR-Vs at Southgate Honda feature large touchscreens, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Three trims have seven-inch touchscreens, and the others come with nine-inch touchscreens. The larger touchscreen comes standard with SiriusXM and HD Radio and is available with navigation. Multiple USB ports are included with most new CR-Vs, and wireless charging is another optional component.
Honda has integrated advanced technology into the CR-V to help you stay safe. Forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and collision mitigation braking are some of the standard systems, and blind-spot monitoring is included with several trims as well.
